Head to Paddock Bakery in Burleigh for famous wood-fired sourdough, pastries or a cooked breakfast/lunch in a cool rustic cottage setting. They have a constant rotation of baked goods including creme brulee or biscoff cheesecake doughnuts, scrolls, croissants, gooey cookies and more. Sit outside in the leafy garden courtyard or inside the huge weatherboard cottage that the cafe and bakery are housed in, where you can watch the woodfire ovens in action behind a glass wall. There's also an upstairs seating area as well as a rooftop terrace so there's plenty of space to spread out and enjoy a long brunch or work session.
